The Denon DJ Prime GO is now compatible with Virtual DJ while in Computer Mode. 


In order to be able to use Computer Mode with the Prime GO to control Virtual DJ, you need to be using Engine DJ 2.3.0 or higher, and you will need a Virtual DJ Pro license.

Windows users will also need to download the following audio driver for the GO.

Once you have Engine DJ 2.3.0 or higher installed and you have a Pro license for VDJ, you can now connect your GO to start using Virtual DJ. 


When the Prime GO is powered on, it will default to Standalone mode. To switch to Computer mode and control Virtual DJ:

  • Hold down the VIEW button at the center panel of the device, or slide down the main screen.
  • Tap on the Source button on the Prime GO screen.
  • Tap on the Computer icon at the top of the Prime GO screen


You should then see the following screen:



Select the Prime GO button in order for Virtual DJ to apply the pre-defined audio configuration (speakers need to be connected to the rear side of the unit in this case), or Computer if you don't have any speakers to connect to the Prime GO and need to output sound from the default sound card of your computer.


Your Prime GO is now ready for use with Virtual DJ!
